At Academy of Learning we know that your future is important to you and that it can be hard to manage the financial investment ongoing education requires. That's why we offer some options for financing your career training.
It is possible to enter into a monthly payment plan directly with the school, after providing a mandatory deposit. If you choose that option, full payment for your courses/program is required a minimum of one month prior to your graduation date.
Academy of Learning has made arrangements for our students to make use of a third party organization as well. They are Travelers Financial and they have been providing financial solutions for businesses and individuals for more than 30 years. Should Travelers Financial approve your application you will have the benefits of flexible, competitive terms, reduced payments while attending class and no early payout penalties. This option allows you to spread out your payments past your graduation date.
There may also be funding available for individuals through various programs administered by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities. Contacting an Employment Counsellor at Victoria County Career Services is an excellent way to find out if you qualify.
You may find assistance through other organizations such as the Ontario Disability Support Program/Social Services, Kawartha Lakes Social Services or The Canadian Hearing Society.
Another option that could be of help is financing through a banking institution. Many of the local banks offer students a line of credit upon approval of their application. Visit our Links page for a comprehensive list of web-based contacts.
